Leaf Guards & Gutter Protection for NEPA Homes

Keep leaves and pine needles out so water keeps moving — through leaf drop and through the freeze.

About our leaf guard & gutter protection

Gutter guards are worth it when your house has trees over it. They keep the run flowing between cleanings, cut down the ladder work, and reduce the ice damming that comes with a Northeastern Pennsylvania winter.

They are not worth it on every home, and we'll say so. If your roof is clear of trees, a seasonal cleaning is the smarter spend and we'd rather tell you that than sell you a product you don't need.

When guards do make sense, the type matters. Micro-mesh handles pine needles and shingle grit; solid-cover systems shed heavy leaf load. We pick based on your roof pitch and what's actually growing over the house.

What's included

  • Micro-mesh guards for pine needles, seed pods, and roof grit
  • Solid-cover reverse-curve systems for heavy leaf load
  • Guard type matched to your roof pitch and tree cover
  • Installed over new gutters or your existing system
  • Gutters cleaned and flushed before the guards go on
  • Reduces ice damming and winter ladder work

Leaf guards make sense if

  • Mature trees or pines overhang the roof
  • You're cleaning gutters more than twice a year
  • Ice dams or icicles form along the eaves each winter
  • The house is two stories and ladder work isn't safe for you
  • You're already installing new seamless gutters
  • Overflow has already caused siding or foundation staining

How the job goes

No salesman, no pressure, and no surprises on the invoice.

  1. 1

    Look at the tree cover

We assess what's dropping on the roof and how the water moves before recommending anything.

  2. 2

Match the guard to the roof

Micro-mesh or solid cover, chosen for your pitch and debris type — not a one-size product.

  3. 3

    Clean, then cover

The system is cleaned and flushed first so nothing is sealed in.

  4. 4

    Install and test

Guards fitted and the run water-tested before we leave.
